But is that really so? Does sex hold such a place in our lives that we think of nothing but our gratification? Or do we not frequently busy our thoughts with other matters while having sex? Shopping lists, or philosophical questions, for example. Or with the age-old question of what is art!

Krádež ukradeného není zločinem

Patro s kancelářemi bude plné kurátorů, kterých se všechny instituce za které se dnes stydíme zbavily, a galerie bude plná uměleckého života a výstav, o jejichž uspořádání už nikdo nechce žebrat v institucích, které dávno ztratily prestiž. Kdyby měl někdo dodávku na odpis tak nejlepší je projet s ní tou velkou výlohou z nábřeží.

Volby ovládají profesionálové oboru public relations. Jejich hlavním úkolem je komerční reklama, která je koncipována tak, aby nabourávala tržní prostředí produkováním nepoučených spotřebitelů, kteří se budou rozhodovat iracionálně – tedy právě opačně, než jak má trh fungovat, ale bezpochyby způsobem důvěrně známým každému, kdo se kdy díval na televizi. Je jenom přirozené, že PR průmysl najatý k tomu, aby vedl volební kampaň, zvolí tytéž postupy v zájmu svých chlebodárců, kteří bezpochyby nestojí o občany činící racionální rozhodnutí. Ale ani v jednom z obou případů oběti nemusí poslechnout. Pasivita může být sice tou nejjednodušší cestou, ale úctu si sotva zaslouží. (Noam Chomsky)
